Discovered this place online while planning a trip to Lubbock. Stopped in for family lunch. Shawarma Special, Gyros Plate, and Dolmas appetizer soon arrived. All plates made with care and were tasty. A small baklava to share for dessert topped off a nice meal. Service was friendly and pleasant.Prices a touch higher than expected, but this isn’t fast food. Happy we discovered this family-run place and hope to return soon.

This place is really interesting! They have a mini market where you can by foreign stuff there. The food is different, so unless you know what you like that is Greek Mediterranean, don’t base decide if you don’t like the place or not off the first thing you try. Anyway, if you want to play it safe the gyro calzone is wonderful and the chocolate and honey dessert that is by the cash register is to die for.

You call these falafels?. More like zucchini bread balls. The gyro was ok, lots of meat.Like the little shop, bought some falafel mix… just hope it’s not the same brand they use there.Maybe I was a little harsh for choosing didn’t like, but I had a hankering for falafel, and theirs was not good.

Lite Bite made me feel good in my tummy. I learnt two things today. You pronounce Gyro like year row, and that Lite Bite makes some pretty decent grub. Not exactly sure what it all is, but it sure tasted good. Got there and the parking lot is not the best but there was not any potholes so score one point. The outside of building is older but fairly well maintained. Notice there is a lot of outside seating. I go inside and the place is bigger than I thought. Lots of tables and could seat over 50 plus all the seating outside. Temp was nice and cool, and place had all this Euro junk all over the walls making it seem like you stepped into a Mediterranean diner. I made that up…not like I have been to Europe. Wait, isn’t the Mediterranean a lake or something? Older gentleman at counter waited on me. He might have been the owner. Had a thick Euro accent. I told him I had never been here before but friends had suggested a lamb Year Row. He nodded his head in agreement. He started to go work on my order and I said hold on…get me some of that hummus whatever that is. Again he nodded in agreement. He handed me my water and said something to a younger bearded guy who I think was American but who can be sure at a place like this? Bearded guy soon hands me a bowl with some breaded substance. I assume this to be hummus. Said he would bring me my sammy. Making assumption because I have no clue what a Year Row is. I sit by myself. There is only one other table taken with a nice looking older lady with no wedding ring and a younger asian guy and they are talking business. Should I have said oriental? I don’t want to offend anyone. I might have busted a move on this lady had she been alone…who am I kidding? No I wouldn’t. I look around and place is very clean. Place is not new but fairly well kept up except a few ceiling tiles showed some rain leaks. The hummus was surprisingly good. I think I like mexican salsa and chips better but it is nice to change it up sometimes. Young bearded dude brought me my gyro. I talked to him some about the hummus and he told me what I should try next time. I appreciated his suggestion and will probably take him up on it. Don’t ask me what it was he suggested because I have no clue. The gyro was delicious. Yeah I really liked every single bite. It was like eating a mexican burrito but different and better. I want to thank Dan and Dos for suggesting this place to me. I will return. Final word: Go ahead and go to this place. It’s a goThis is an official Frekview. Thanks and God Bless.

Chicken Shawarma stole my heart. I eat here most Fridays and get the chicken shawarma (special of the day) sandwich. Sometimes shredded, sometimes chunky, always so flavorful and that flavor lasts with you throughout the day. The hummus is great, baklava tasty and those pickles… great pickles. Standard gyro sandwich is really solid but I rarely get it due to the shawarma.

Very friendly cashier and quick service. I had their Tahini Hummus and Supreme Gyro. I’m not all too familiar with hummus but the one there was pretty good. Although I would have preferred warmer and crispier pita bread, the app was full of flavor. The gyro was packed with meat and just the right amount of feta. I was a little confused as to why it was served alongside a pickle spear and yellow corn round chips – odd. Overall, a great meal. They have a lot of other choices, including the pizza which I want to try later on.
