The Local is my favorite Lubbock bar. Great decor and convenient location next to campus makes this my go-to after class drink spot. Their menu is great especially for a bar, love the pork belly tacos, nachos, and chicken fried steak. The only down side about this bar is their lack of beer on tap. They do have a decent selection of craft beers in bottles and cans, just wish they were on tap!
If you want a true local bar this is the place to go. Full of locals and cocktails. What else could you want? The staff is friendly. A great place to stop in and have a drink across the street from Tech.
