We have ate there 3 or 4 times and we have a 2yo. They have always been helpful in service, food was great including appetizers and desserts. Expect a good price at the end but it is clean and updated.
It may be that my review is a bit skewed due to having a gift card and I just paid $8 for a very nice meal but here it goes. My meal consisted of Coconut Shrimp along with their Ribeye, Green Beans, and Aussie Fries. The steak was tender but lacked flavor, for sure. The temperature was spot on too. Salt was used a little too much on the fries but the green beans were cooked perfectly and weren’t over seasoned. Service was okay but the wait for my check and then the receipt was unusually long. It didn’t bother me much though. I still prefer Texas Roadhouse.
Great waiter. Stopped at the Outback on the Loop 289 in Lubbock, the waiter we had was very busy (seems like they all were busy that night) but Ben was fun and friendly nonetheless. We were there visiting with our neighbor’s to see their daughter at Texas Tech University and noticed a lot of college kids work here, but they were all good at what they do. He was especially good even though we were a large group ordering many different drinks and food items. Sounded like he knew all of the menu well and after asking me a few questions, recommended a Filet & Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie. IT WAS GREAT. Thanks Ben for making our visit something special. We will be back to this restaurant each time we visit Lubbock.
Consistently good. Surf and turf, beer, margaritas all consistently good every time we come here. Good service and reasonably priced. Save room for dessert!
If i get a giftcard,. I will go. The bread and butter is great. To me the steaks are average. Not bad, not great.
I see that a lot of people enjoy Outback…I’m apparently hitting them on the wrong evenings because I can’t seem to get a good meal here. I will admit, they have good appetizers and cold draft beer!
Only a shadow of its former self. Years ago this place served superior food, but the last few years it has been dismal. We have repeatly returned for hopes of improvement, never happened. Given up, won’t try again.
