Really??. Ordered two specialty pizzas, waited an hour and a half for them to be delivered. Once they got here they, not only were cold, but my two specialty pizzas turned out to be a cheese pizza and a cheese with pepperoni. I’m so disgusted right now that I’m not even going to waste my time calling, I just won’t go back.

We had friends over last night for a small get together. My order was 32.00 plus the tip that I put for the delivery person in my credit card. We were all in the back yard, so I didn’t hear the doorbell when it rang. I noticed a missed call and had a voicemail from the delivery driver saying that he had come but there was no answer at the door. I called the number back but received no answer, so I called the store to let them know that we didn’t hear the door. The person who answered the phone said he would let the driver know to re-deliver. When the doorbell rang again I answered it, said hello, and began to apologize for missing him the first time. I was met with an icy glare and handed the credit card receipt to sign. The delivery person said nothing to me at all but looked at me like I had done something wrong. He looked angry and annoyed with me. He handed me the pizzas and I told him thank you. Again the icy glare. He said nothing at all, rolled his eyes and turned to walk away. I have never been met with such rudeness by a delivery person. I seriously considered handing him back the pizza and telling him nevermind. I do not feel that I should have been met with such contempt for making an honest mistake in not hearing the doorbell. I will not order pizza from Papa Johns again. Obviously they do not appreciate my business.
Horrible Customer Service. Pizza is good but the service is lacking horribly. My wife and I have always been a fan of Papa John’s pizza, but are so disappointed by the lack of customer service we have encountered on numerous occasions at the location that we are going to start frequenting other pizza stores until something drastic changes. The general manager, Glenn Willis, is very argumentative and makes you feel very insignificant even though it is an issue with his staff. For instance, today I went in to pick up a pizza I ordered yesterday with reward points that expired yesterday (points were still valid when I ordered the pizza and I set it for a future pick-up of today). I called the store after placing the order online and asked to add BBQ sauce to the pizza instead of tomato sauce. The person taking my order said that it was not a problem, but when I went to pick up the pizza I was told I had to pay. I mentioned that it was supposed to be free with rewards points, and the cashier said I had to re-order the pizza online. When I stated that it was not possible since the points had expired she got the GM Glenn Willis. He said that I should have known that calling the store and editing the order would have caused an issue. I stated that I did not know the policy, but he said it was not their fault. He gave me the pizza, but said he was only doing that to end the conversation because I was clearly in the wrong.I would not recommend visiting this store unless you want to encounter the same lack of service that I have encountered not only this time but numerous times before. We have tried to give this location numerous chances, and have even spoken with the area manager, but unfortunately things have not improved.
Papa Johns is a fail safe back up plan for any evening! I’ve ordered from this location for almost four years now and they’ve never faltered once. Hand down the best crust and sauce in town. Neither Pizza Hut or Dominoes comes anywhere close to comparing in quality or price!
Love the pizza. Great taste. But this store on 82nd street is horrible about delivering everything you order. Don’t sit by the door waiting for them to bring you what they forgot because they aren’t going to show up. Best bet if you just have to order from them, pick up your order or don’t expect to receive your full order.
