Went the after the TCU-Tech game. Figured it would be crowded right after the game, but it was only about 1/3 full. Found out quickly why this place so close to the stadium was 2/3 empty. Food was decent (C+), service – can’t rate it because there was none. I counted four waitresses and a bartender in a place that probably had 12 tables with people. We waited 15 minutes to get served. Our waitress must have been on her first night because she didn’t even know what beers they had. I went to bar to order a beer, but there was no bartender until I flagged someone down. Got a beer. The order took 30 minutes to get to us. I tried to order another beer, but the waitress never came back. I went to the bar to order one, but there was no bartender and I waited about 7 minutes, then went back to my table. My wife returned from the rest room to tell me there was no toilet paper or paper towels. She went to the manager and all he could do was apologize – didn’t even make a move to put toilet paper in the bathroom. I left the exact amount of the check in cash. The manager and staff were clearly overwhelmed with 12 tables.
