Went here last Friday evening. It was WAY too crowded for my liking, not enough space between tables, so you almost feel crammed in. The waiter was mediocre, and didn’t seem to care much. We didn’t get as many refills as we would like, and I asked him things about the menu, I had to explain myself. Foodwise: I ordered the original Red Robin burger, and it wasn’t that great, the sauce they had put on it didn’t taste that great, but their Parmesan fries were fantastic. I didn’t get enough refills of their bottomless fries to be satisfied though. Probably won’t come back there for a while.
Good burgers, amazing fries and campfire sauce. Service was very friendly and quick. The burger was meh, but the fries made up for it. I would bathe in campfire sauce if my wife would allow it.
There’s no denying the fries at Red Robin. When I have the craving for it I just have to have it. I usually order the fish sandwich minus the bun and the portion size is reasonable. I also recently tried the ensenada chicken platter with one chicken breast. It comes with a side salad and it also a reasonable portion size. All delicious. They typically have good service for lunch and some folks know you’re on a lunch break and try to serve you quickly. goodnomadventures.com
We have had great service every time we have eaten at Red Robin in Lubbock. They have a great allergen menu and seem to be very allergy friendly, which our family appreciates. The burgers are delicious!
Other Options are best…. Eaten once at a Red Robin in Amarillo. Wasn’t good. Friends wanted to go so I went to the one here in Lubbock. Burgers are not that great. Fries are okay, but overcooked. Service was better than what I read here. Overall, skip it, There is a local gourmet burger place on 50th that is far superior to this chain restaurant.
Bad Service. So awful it’s hard to know where to startWe went about 3p….We had to wait 10mins before anybody came to table. Table was sticky. After ordering it was 40 mins before we got 2 burgers and onion rings with 2 ice teas No silver ware or napkins and another 20mins and had to ask several times before we got silverware & 2 napkins After asking for more napkins bc the burgers are juicy finally we gave up my husband went to the bathroom and got some paper towels.
With the exception of one hostess, this restaurant is good. Burgers are excellent and bar staff is superb!
