Awesome Customer Service & Donuts!. Unlike the previous reviewer, my experience with Rise n Shine has always been fantastic. Their cinnamon rolls, twists, cinnamon flowers, and bear claws are nothing short of amazing. My son loves the chocolate donut holes with sprinkles. Unfortunately (for us!) they were slammed very early one day and we got there too late. They were all sold out of donut holes… Rather than letting me out empty handed, I was given a couple of chocolate donuts with sprinkles at no charge. Thanks Rise n Shine!
Terrible Customer Service. My husband purchased donuts from this R & S, he came home only to realize they had forgotten the 2 glaze donuts, which was the whole reason for going, the other dozen donuts were accounted for. The next time we went to the establishment, my husband explained the issue, they didn’t even care to offer up the donuts that were left out of the box. The three women had no idea how to handle the situation. They talked about it amongst themselves like lost children with no resolution and without addressing the issue with him further, proceeded to wait on other customers. This is considered awful customer service but that is how it is here in Lubbock, Texas we see it everywhere, coming from Seattle where your treated like you matter in any establishment you enter, says a lot about the customer service in this city. This happened on May 17, 2014.
Kolaches!!. I love their kolaches!! Jumbo size? Yes Please!! Only downside…? They are only open until noon! I’m a breakfast-all-day kinda gal unfortunately, so I hate it when I can’t get my breakfast fix in the afternoon. 😉

Great neighborhood donut shop! The donuts are always fresh and the breakfast sandwiches/burritos are great. Service has always been exceptionally friendly and the place is very clean.
Best Kept Secret is….. The burritos!!.. I couldnt believe it myself. The donuts are great but the burritos are big and come with homemade salsa! the best around!!
Great Donuts !!. I have to say that hands down the best donuts are from Rise N Shine Donuts. Everyone made a big deal when Crispy Creme came to town, but their donuts are almost greasy tasting. The donuts at Rise N Shine Donuts are substantial without being heavy. Get there early because the lines are usually pretty long. Chocolate donuts are the best in town, and the glazed aren’t bad either. LOL. This location is a favorite of our office, and we get them every other week or so. Great, great donuts !!!
