This place is legit. It’s just what you want in a special little out of the way place. We had to turn the car around twice just to find it. The digs are not fancy but it’s clear the owners care for their restaurant. The menu is small and there are pictures behind the register that help you navigate the choices, which was a great help for a Korean food newbie like me. I ordered a spicy chicken dish. The flavor was rich and warm, spicy and a bit sweet. The rice was perfectly cooked and sticky. I can’t wait to try everything!
Love love love Seoul. Food is consistently delicious and service is unbeatable. The owner is almost always working the register and is so friendly and helpful. We pick up take out from here almost once a week and have never been disappointed. We usually get a #2 and #17 and I always ask for extra kimchi which they happily oblige. Dining in is also a good option, unlimited refills on sides and it’s usually pretty quiet inside.
Interesting first experience with Korean Cuisine. Service was great considering the restaurant was in a lunch rush. Food was good as well! Will be returning to sample more of the diverse menu soon!
Bulgogi. Excellent flavor and spice!
Great Food!. I can’t tell who how annoying it is to go here and see so many of my fellow Americans eating fried rice. They have such awesome traditional dishes, and fried rice is so easy to make at home. I highly recommend their stews and bbqs. I love how they give the sides, kimchi, spiced and pickled cucumbers, etc, with all the traditional orders. The doenjang jjigae (beef and bean paste stew), Galbi jjim/kalbi jjim, and bulgogi (both ribs) are my favs! There is NO MSG in this food either! And portions are definitely big enough to just share with your date. For appetizers, go with the fried sweet potatoes cakes or squid salad.
Delicious food with large portions!. I tried several dishes (soon doo boo jjigae, japchae bop, and bibim bop) at Seoul Korean Cuisine and they were all very good had came with large portions. I like this restaurant because the food tastes like it’s homemade: no msg. All the dishes were prepared with just the right amount of sauce and spice: not spicy, salty, or bland.
Bibimbap!. Delicious! No other way to say it… Give it a try and add some spicy sauce.
