  Since I am a dog, I say this with great reluctance, this place has gone to the dogs! Went there tonight for a snack and cup of coffee. At 9:30, the front door was locked, the pastries where all put up, the music was turned off, everyone was made to feel unwelcome. At promptly 9:58 pm, the lights were turned off, the back door was locked, customers were shooed away like fleas, and people were turned around as they walked up. THEY WERE CLOSED FOR THE EVENING. Apparently SUMMER HOURS although the hours posted on the door clearly said they were open until midnight. Shame on you Starbucks. There are other places to go in the neighborhood. You have lost my support.28 May, 2012Super location, across from campus. Lots of outdoor seating and very friendly atmosphere inside. The staff is usually excellent too. It is frustrating when they start putting up the pastries too early at night. Overall, very good.

  Great Baristas!. When I go in for coffee the baristas are ready to take my order with a smile and a pep in their step. They know not to take my grumpiness seriously when I haven’t had my coffee yet. My drink has always been correct and tastes great.

  This is the closest Starbucks to Campus so it’s usually packed with studiers. This is both good and bad. Conveniently every table is near an outlet so it is very laptop friendly. But it’s proximity to campus makes it a popular spot, so around midterms and finals it can get busy. Fortunately, they are consistently open until midnight when Tech is in session, so if you’re looking for a study destination, try here first!
