Steak was very good! I was very curious about a steak being delivered to me. The meal came piping hot which is awesome. It did take about 45 minutes but it they told me that ahead of time. The steak was cooked perfect and was seasoned just right. Potato was a potato so I cant say much about it. The buttered broccoli was awesome also. Lastly the rolls are to die for! Oh yeah I forgot to say how amazing the sweet tea is. Great place!
Rude Manager on Duty. Watch what you order. I either got the wrong steak or the chewiest piece of sirloin I every had. Then don’t call to tell them because they basically call you a liar because you do not call the minute the delivery arrives. This was not a complaint about the temp of the steak but the quality of the meat….very very chewy. The MOD was very rude and basically called me a liar that they gave me the steak that I had ordered and because of the price of my ticket they would not make a mistake. Our order was over $60 – guess what they will not receive that ticket again. Done with them because of this manager. Rest of food was good, but the manager needs customer service skills!!!!!!!!
Have had plenty of problems with this 98th st. location, tried to place an order and they told me I had to pay for a previous order. What kind of restaurant is this! I don’t see any others in Lubbock saying you can’t eat here because you didn’t like your order last time. Also I’m not in their delivery area so add gas money to that order too!!!!
They don’t deliver to the urban areas as if we don’t like eat or enjoy steak wat a shame!!
Smoke, but not from kitchen. As I was in the drive-thru lane I’m sure I saw and smelled some employees smoking pot. It may be common practice in Lubbock. It may not be. But it’s happening at the Steak Express.2nd time customer. Won’t be back.
Best Cheeseburger In Town. We buy our employee’s lunch every Saturday. Quite often we order cheeseburger set ups from Steak Express. They deliver and they are always good about bringing condiments and plastic ware. The burgers come with vegetable set ups on the side and chips. They have great sweet tea. Can’t speak about their steaks, but their burgers are very hard to beat.
Shoe Leather!. Ordered from Steak Express last night. Delivery was decent, baked potatoe was, okay. The medium rib eyes we HORRIBLE!! My dogs had a fun time playing tug of war with the pieces of meat. Offered to give a 15% discount when we called and said they would make a note to be sure and tenderize it next time…Tenderize it!!!??? Really….a rib eye!!! NO THANKS!
