Excellent food! Decent service. The staff was very friendly. We loved this place! I it was called skillet enchiladas or something like that…but it was enchiladas with fajita meat on top and peppers and onions underneath. Soooooo yummy. Their queso is also very good.
Reminded me a lot of Abuelos… it’s tasty, there are a lot of options for entrees, drinks, etc. I had fish tacos with rice and boraccho beans. The chips, salsa, and queso are all good… the queso is basically melted velveta though.
I AM A FOOD CRITIC,I ALWAYS ENJOY A GOOD MEAL I GOT TIRED OF GOING TO AMARILLO FOR GOOD MEXICAN FOOD,I WOULD ALWAYS GO TO LA PLAZA IN AMARILLO.THEN I TOLD THEM TO BRING IT TO LUBBOCK.I HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED, IF THEIR IS SOMETHING WRONG I INFORM THEM SO THEY CAN CORRECT IT.IF YOU ARE PAYING FOR SOMETHING YOU ARE A CONSUMER.SO COMPLAIN TO THEM, THEIR FOOD ALWAYS TASTE LIKE REAL MEXICAN FOOD.
Hit and miss. Been to this location 4 times. 3 decent experiences the other two. Man it was bad. Service is always good however. Food was adequate not great or memorable on the good times I have been but the bad days the food was so bad I had them take it away. Not edible. What is it with these Amarillo Mexican joints that have opened in Lubbock. Absolutely bland food.
Good Mexican food Alternative for Lubbock, at a moderate price. Extensive menu selection, and I have yet to be disappointed. My favorite dish has been the tacos locos.
Went here tonight and was very disappointed. The rice was bland. The salsa was not remotely spicy and had too much cilantro. I got the fajitas and the onions and bell peppers were not cooked the way they should be. Refried beans were very bland. The service was very good on the other hand and the place was very clean. But we will not be going back, unfortunately.
