New York Strip!. I had the New York strip prime, and it was awesome one of the most juicy tender steaks I have ever had!!!
White Tablecloths – Mediocre Steaks. For the price, I expect an excellent steak. Every steak on the table had an extremely uneven sear.
I was invited to lunch by a coworker and it was definitely a great lunch. At first, I felt a little outside of my element – white linen place. The buffet was great and the quality wasn’t affected by the mass quantity produced. I went through their salad bar and they had some great choices. For the entre(s), I had some Chicken Monray with roasted sweet potatoes and sauted cabbage. Round two consisted of brisket with sweet BBQ sauce alongside some more salad. The desser I chose was this semi bread pudding with caramel and pecans topped with whipped cream. Service was great and the views weren’t bad at all.
Overpriced and underserved. White linen prices and pretentious attitude with casual dining service and uninformed service. Most don’t know that they don’t know.I write this after a dozen + visits since opening. I’ve had buffets, lunch, dinner and private dining. None came close to being private club level service and the food is merely acceptable. A big let down for Lubbock by Club Corp.
Food marginal Atmosphere ni…. Food marginalAtmosphere nice for Lubbock, Texas. Worth eating just for change of scenery
Ate there a few weeks ago, food was definently not fine dining. Sad excuse for a ClubCorp restaurant. Too bad.
A bit disappointing…. Had dinner here last Tuesday night – 45 minutes to get entrees, and one was incorrectly ordered by the server; took 30 minutes to get the correct entree. By then, remaining diners had finished their meals. Server seemed inexperienced and overwhelmed, but can’t hold him responsible for kitchen delays, which were evident at all surrounding tables. Managers did step in after the fact and offer accommodation, to us as well as to other guests. This was not typical for this restaurant in my experience, although this is the second consecutive visit where there was a significant delay in food delivery after ordering. Hope they resolve these issues soon.
