Having eaten here five times I have noticed a trend. While the food is presented well, servers interrupt diners. Every single time I’ve dined here waiters and waitresses rudely interrupt conversations. They are not instructed on how to approach a table. If there’s a conversation going on one does not interrupt the conversation. At first I thought it was a particularly bad waiter but it happened every time I’ve gone and other reviewers have commented on it too.

Kidshearts. The atmosphere is 4 Star. The food is usually 4 Star. The selection is 4 Star. The prices are certainly 4 Star. But the service, which will usually make or break a restaurant, is only a 2 Star or 3 at the best. Same thing for the Overton Hotel. You can’t expect a 4 Star experience and have so many inexperienced staff on board. I know this is a teaching facility, but being that, they need to lower the expectations. Especially the prices. I only go on the special nights when I don’t have to pay full price. It’s not worth the $200 I would have to spend on the other nights. Service is very unpredictable and so is the cooking. One night, every order was wrong. The next time, everything was great. You just never know what you will get. Same thing at the Overton. When we checked in, we asked for an extra blanket. We were told it would be in our room within 30 minutes. 3 hours later I called backed. They asked if I wanted the thin one or the thick one. I wanted the thick one. We got the thin one, so I had to call again. For breakfast the next morning, we ordered 2 meals. We got one glass of water and one serving of flatware. Everything is 4 Star except for the service, just probably the most important part of the experience.
