Didn’t think the customer service was the best at this place at all though… I dont really like any of the food here except the big jumbo burritos. Also, their refried beans are not good

It was OK-I think Freebirds is better……. OK, finally had a chance to visit this place in our town. Took the family for a visit.Right off the bat, their salads are huge and delicious. I got mine with fajita chicken meat but wish the portion of chicken matched the salad bowl. Plus I was not a fan of their avocado ranch dressing. It was really too thick, no taste, and had the consistency of sour cream. If they could make their dressings like Freebirds, then they would be on to something. I also tried their menu offerings of a bean soup loaded with spicy pork on top, I forget the name plus I do not see it on their online menu. It was pretty good with a good portion of pork but lacked spice and heat. Maybe adding some chopped fresh jalapenos would work and a splash of tabasco?? Wife had their burrito and she liked it but she really liked their frozen drink called a Fuzzy?? she said it was very good……..sorry I forgo the name of that too.For some reason my son ordered the fish sandwich and he didnt like it. Over half the sandwich was still on his plate and he refused to eat anymore. He prolly should of ordered some soft tacos since he likes those.So Fuzzy’s is pretty close to my house and I would go there for their salads but bring my own salad dressing. It is the size and portion that I like too otherwise if Freebird’s was closer, I would be going there instead.
Fear the franchise…… The only similarity between this FRANCHISE and the ORIGINAL Fuzzy’s Taco shop/shops is the decor. Was pretty excited to have a Fuzzy’s closer to home because my husband and I have eaten there for years. After last night, we will definitely be making the trek to the Green Oaks location. I had the cruchy shredded beef Baja Tacos and hubby had the big shredded beef salad. The taco shells were the same quality of the boxed version of shells you can get at your local supermarket…….before you heat them up. The shredded beef had no flavor and was extremely dry. These tacos are supposed to include a garlic sauce but the only sauce that I encountered was an avacado ranch dressing that had been squirted into the bottom of the taco shell. Perhaps they added that little gem to disguise the dry/flavorless meat and subpar taco shell. I didn’t even eat my second one. The portion of meat in hubby’s salad was as disappointing and the salad ingredients were like bagged salad…one day prior to the expiriation date. Two good things about this Fuzzy’s location, the beer is still iced cold and the chips and queso are good. If you are looking for that delicious Fuzzy’s Taco expirence…I don’t believe that you will find it here.
