Excellent food! We are regulars at La Gondola and have never had a bad experience. The service is top notch. They have amazing bread and soups.

Very good service and delicious selection of food items. Not a place to diet. Friendly atmosphere.

We are new to the area so we went here with no expectations. We were surprised to see how busy they were for a weeknight. Our waiter was friendly and helpful and suggested some of his favorites from the menu. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine and the Antipasto di Mare (steamed clams, mussels, shrimp, and calamari in a nice light dressing). We also had a couple of Caesar salads out before our meal. I didn’t love the dressing but that speaks more to my personal preference, not the food quality. The garlic bread basket was very nice. My husband wanted the Filetto Oscar but it’s not available during the week so our waiter suggested the Filetto Diane. The steak was cooked as ordered (med rare) and the brandy cream sauce was very, very rich. I had the Pollo Val d’Aosta and asked to add artichoke hearts. The whole thing was cooked perfectly and was tender and juicy. The sauce was perfectly seasoned. Not too overbearing and didn’t drown out the flavor of the meat and veggies. Pasta with red sauce was served on the side of my meal as well. We skipped desserts but we were tempted by the Cappuccino Pie. Overall the atmosphere was nice and everything was clean and organized. Good comfortable place to get a nice meal.

After addressing the fact that they did not offer to even reduce the cost, eventually they begrudgedly offered a 20% discount. I did enjoy our waitresses personality though. Her name was Lina and she had a positive attitude throughout it all. Thank you Lina (:02 Oct, 2011I ordered the Samon Salad and it was fairly good. I was upset about the portion size. I think I should have gotten more salad for the cost. I asked for more salad and they sent me a plate of greens on a broken plate that fell apart in my hands. That was kinda funny until the glass got into my food and then had to wait 15 mins for them to make a new small portion salad. Everyone was doneby the time I ate. They didn’t offer to put the meal on the house or reduce the cost fir their error. The taste of the salad was not worth the cost or the wait. I was very disappointed with the results.

Spotty service at best. Although having dined there many times, we were seated then totally ignored one evening despite wait staff continuously walking back and forth. After 15 minutes, we got up and walked out. We’ll never go back.
