We are long time fans of Mama’s Pizza since 1976. The new ownership is not following the franchise style of the pizza. Tough and chewy, so we gave it benefit of the doubt and went back 3 times and its horrible. If you remember the original Cooper Street Mama’s Pizza you can still get it if you drive to Fort Worth (Berry St) or Arlington (Fielder St). Its worth the drive.

They lost our business after many years!. I called in a carry-out order like I have done many times. When I arrived there were only four people in the entire restaurant, a girl brought out my pizza and when I lifted the box the entire underside was covered in grease. I mentioned this to the girl and a female owner/manager came over and asked if there was a problem. When I asked her if she would like to put a box like this in her car she snatched the box and said it was the garlic butter they use after the pizza baked. She had the cook put the pizza in another box and when she brought it out the box lid was covered in greasy fingerprints…so much for the cook ever washing his hands. When I got the pizza home, it was a total disappoint me, so they have lost two customers (and probably need a visit from the health inspector).
