Great service and my favorite pizzas. The pretzel bites are so yummy. We order the FunkyQ Chicken and a cheese pizza most times that we visit. This location has a private room for small gatherings.
Good pizza and appetizers. They have a full bar with a nice selection of beer on tap. Our server was friendly and very attentive. It’s great to see some new restaurants moving in to the downtown area.

Mello Mushroom Mansfield=Steam punk???. Three words will describe the genera. Funky, steampunk, awesome.The food, Excellent!! The service excellent!!I work part time in Mansfield and watched them build this place. When the y finally put the upside down Mellow Mushroom sign I got very excited. We had been to the one in Fort Worth on the Blue Bonnet Traffic circle and loved it. The new one in Mansfield was even better. I am a Steampunk fan and the decorations in side the building are definitely Steampunk driven.Would I go back? in a heartbeat! Would I recommend this place to friends? Just as many as I can.
Wonderful pizza, missing ingredient: management. We had three different small pizzas, all were very good. The ingredients came through and harmonized. The pizzas were all baked to perfection, though less olive oil could be used and parmigiano cheese should be offered as optional. The restaurant is wonderfully designed with details, artwork and fixtures seen at more upscale establishments. Certainly, one of the best in Mansfield in an otherwise nondescript and lagging part of the old main street. The only negative is the staff. They were noticeably chatting non-stop with themselves and friends at the entrance and near the kitchen entrance. Our server was nothing more than an order taker. Absolutely no effort was made to describe any of the offerings or what is special about Mellow Mushroom much less providing any suggestions. She had to be asked for a kids menu, and brought out a regular drink instead of a kids drink only to say our child did not ask for a kids drink. This restaurant could easily go from the ordinary to extraordinary if management were to engage and provide a service experience commensurate with the price of the meal….learn to delight the customer.
Wasn’t too impressed! Kinda slow service, got the Mediterranean pizza with Tzatziki sauce that tasted more like spoiled tarter sauce. Pizza was okay at best but certainly not worth the $20 price tag for a medium pizza!!! Probably going to be a one time visit!
