This is wonderful little cafe nestled off of Hwy. 281. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. You won’t be disappointed! Yummy home cooked food!
My wife and I’s favorite breakfast. Not sure what all it is that make it so good but their eggs and hashbrowns and bacon just taste better. Love most of their lunches but was not crazy about their enchiladas…. we make at a stop on our way down to San Antonio to come this way. Oh and their pies are excellent. Parking and crowds can be an issue but the line does go fast.
Go for the pie!. Good place. There was a line when we got here but it moved quickly. Service was great. Our meals were fine but the stars of the show were the pies. They were wonderful.
Fantastic home cooking! Chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, catfish, mashed potatoes, fried okra, rolls and coconut cream pie. So yummy!
Way overrated. OK for breakfast, but nothing special.
Not only was the food absolutely AMAZING! The service was beyond impressive! We were seated quickly, never had to ask for a refill, food came out quick, and to top it all off, one member of our party dropped her to-go box while trying to bag it up. The server immediately cleaned up the mess we had made and then, without anyone even asking, she brought out a replacement portion for the amount that was lost! That kind of service is hard to come by. We would have loved to have tried some of their pies, but with the portions of our meals as large as they were there was no way we’d have been able to eat anymore. Absolutely the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. We will be back many many times! Thank you Blue Bonnet Cafe crew for the amazing service and delicious food!
Great lunch for a great price. $50 for a family of 5 to eat! Food was tasty. Service was a little slow but the place was packed so no complaints.
