Great environment, beer, however….we weren’t told it was last call and got our meal but was told after the fact that we couldn’t refill our beers with our dinner meals……at 9:00pm…:( But…our waitress was great! Food- good.
EXPENSIVE NOT GOOD. We had the Bison burger. I’m from Oklahoma and have ate lots of Bison. This is sirloin hamburger. Very dry even though it was cooked medium. Fries very so-so. Their on tap brewed beer was bitter, almost room temp. Served In a uncooled glass. Only drank about half. Save your money.
Great food great beer friendly staff. Enjoyed it so much I ate there everyday I was in Marble Falls. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had and be sure to try the Buffalo burger with an 1855 beer. Awesome!
Forget about it. You wait for tables which isn’t bad, once we got seated on one would wait on us, I figured it was because I was in my work out clothes, they lose your orders and forget our drinks. Then all the tables were dirty the only way they got clean because a costumer started cleaning the tables for them.hey lose your order. Charged use for something we never even got. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!
Amazing burger! Yum!!!
My family and I ate here on a Sunday afternoon. We decided on apps and choose the trio..pulled pork nachos..flatbread chicken..and onion rings..all came out cold at diff times. Small plates never came..even the ice tea was terrible..flatbread soggy cold and inedible.overall experience was poor..This place needs a gm quickly.wait staff needs training.hostess was indifferent and appeared to wish she wasn’t there. Beer was ok..please get a gm here ..really want this pub to succeed.
Awesome place!!. First, I do have to admit, this place wasn’t the first on my list to have my dad’s 70th birthday party. I know, I know. My dad favors another ‘grill’ by the River (ahem I won’t name it) because he knows the owners but when I tried to get a reservation for a party of 30…I was completely shut down because they were already booked. I guess they can only do one party at a time. I was a little perturbed but remembered the great time we had the last time we went to Double Horn.I was a little worried because I do not live in the area and my budget was a little tight. I emailed the establishment and received a positive response immediately from Dusty Knight. I then received a follow up call from the chef himself, Jason Harrelson, who commanded a menu that fit my budget. I have had to cater a lot of events in a prior life in the DFW area, and the service and attention I received setting up this small party was phenomenal. Jason was BEYOND accommodating. We had a BBQ plate that was loaded with sausage, brisket and ribs. LOADED. We also had sides of beans, cole slaw, and potato salad. Now, about 5 people that night kept commenting on how great the food was. My aunt, who is the ultimate potato salad connoisseur, couldn’t get enough of the potato salad. The cole slaw was a nice change from the normal cole slaw. It was another hit. There was nothing bad about the food. Now, the service. Jason stayed through our dinner service and constantly checked on us to make sure we were okay. Our server for the night, Ryan M. made sure no one went without anything and kept our table in check. No one wanted for anything. The next day my dad was still talking about how great the food was and how happy he was with the place. That in itself is priceless.
