We tried Thai Niyom on a weeknight. They have increased their prices, and are no longer within the single $ range. Dinner for our family (5 rice/noodle entrees) cost just over $70 (including tax). I tried the Thai Basil Chicken, which was excellent, though it is garnished with Jalapeos instead of Thai peppers. Their Thai Tea is possibly the best we have ever tasted, but is only half the size served by typical Thai restaurants. My husband and son like very spicy foods and ordered their dishes at the highest spice level offered (3 star), but were disappointed to find their food very mild. The peppers were visible, but had no heat. We agree with the other reviewer who said there is not enough tamarind sauce in the pad Thai and the flavors were too mild. We were thinking of trying the coconut ice cream rice, but the waitress made it clear she was ready to go home. We do like this restaurant. It was clean and nice and has some great flavors and food, but we will never order the Pad Thai again.

45 minute wait for a to go order was not worth it. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was lightly colored and bland. I cook Pad Thai and the ingredients include fish and oyster sauce. Both are dark in color and add flavor….which this Pad Thai did not have very flavor. I stayed in Thailand for a month and this did not taste like Thai food I had while I was there.
Can’t say anything about the food as we didn’t eat. We where seated promptly and that’s where it ended. Waiter and waitress went past use a dozen times with food and drinks for the other tables. When I tried to get their attention the waitress said its coming right out and kept going. We had no drinks and menus in front of us. After 15 mins of this we got up to leave and the only timing that was said was have a nice night. I don’t remember the last time that I’ve had such bad service.
Home made coconut ice cream with sticky rice!!! We seldom order dessert anywhere but we can’t come here without ordering this!
The best Thai food I have had anywhere. Perfect Pad Thai, but everything is freshly prepared and delicious. Very reasonable prices. BYOB
Delicious with good prices too. Dinner for 2 on a Saturday night. My mom had Pad Thai – she said she really liked it, that it was fresh and light with a generous portion (she was able to take some home in a to-go box).I had the Phad Kee-Mao (my 1st time trying this and I liked it a lot too.) It had a light chicken broth/soy sauce sauce that covered sauteed chicken and vegetables – it came with white rice. It was also a generous portion and I had to take some home in a to-go box.The staff was friendly, the place looked very clean, it was quiet (there was not much business, surprisingly, for a Saturday night). They were willing to make adjustments in a menu item, if they could too – though we had no need to do that.I would definitely eat there again.
