Crappy Sam’s. This Sam’s is the WORST one bar none. The food compared to the other Sam’s in the area (Shreveport and Longview) ones is terrible, the service is even worse. They give you 1 tartar sauce regardless of how many pieces of fish you offer. If you want more, it’s $1.00 a piece. Also, they charge for refills. Really??? I can understand them not wanting people that work in the mall to come get refills all day off their fountain. They could fix this by turning their fountain around and having their lazy staff do the refills. In closing, my advice is to bypass this Sam’s and head to the one in Longview by the mall or the one in Shreveport off Pines Rd.
Not sure about this place. We waited for the crowds to die down and finally tried this place. If you’re looking for quantity, this is your place. Two people can definitely share one meal. The catfish we got was not good. It was mushy on the inside. The fries were dead upon arrival. Hushpuppies were very good. Fisherman’s Market blows this place away.

The setting is in the Marshall Mall and the seating is out in one of the exit hallways. There are quite a few tables set up. Huge portions as everyone knows. Taste is great and very fast service here. Desserts are huge and can feed several people like any of the meals. We each got the 3 fish 3 shrimp combo and got 5-6 fillets and 4 shrimp each. Our boxes were bulging open and full like gettin take out at a chinese restaurant but without being looked at funny. They also have diet dr pepper. We have been back since twice and each time was as good as the first. We will be back again and again and again……JG score of 4.5 (+1.5 for food, 0 for atmosphere, +1 for price, + 1 for fountain diet dr pepper, 0 for service, +1 for we will return)
