We went here several months ago and it was a good time.We had an Oyster Challenge.These are all Louisiana Oysters served on the half shell and as with any place we have tried, the smaller oysters were the better ones for us.Oysters Reynaldo, Oysters Rockefeller and Broiled Oysters were our contestants.Oysters Reynaldo were our favorites and described as having a pesto of cilantro and jalapeo and garlic and sprinkled with Parmesan Cheese and baked….Oysters Rockefeller here were as good as other places we have tried and are served with a stuffing of fresh Spinach, Bacon, Parmesan Cheese and Anisette….The Broiled Oysters were by far our least favorite and they pale next to char broiled oysters wherever we have had those. The Broiled Oysters were topped with Italian herbs, Parmesan and Romano Cheeses and garlic butter….Their bread and butter there was good. The butter is sweet.We also had the Fried Artichokes topped with Crabmeat and that was also good.Overall, it was a fun time.
Great staff, impeccable service. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The red snapper was the best I have had in years. I had it topped with crab and a champagne leek sauce, which was the special. As a table we ordered oysters reynaldo, fried asparagus and crab cake and soup to start. The oysters were delicious as were the others. I did not drink however everyone else at the table said their drinks were good and the desert cock tail the Snow Bear was a hit. The place is highly recommended.
