New Wendy’s Review. Wow! Talk about a total change. This is nowhere near the same place. From what we are told, this will happen in all Wendy’s nationwide. Anyway, this place is new, hip, decorated for a totally different crowd than the prior ones and looks like it should be located in a corner of a large building in the food district of some trendy large city. Modern look to it all full of sharp angles and very geometric. Plenty of seating at little tables and booths or around by the windows. You can sit at a bar with an outlet at each chair and free WiFi. Now there are even tables with umbrellas outside. Inside, there are new features like large mounted big screen TV’s and menus. There is a gas light type feature up front as well. The food is mostly the same food but a whole new dessert selection like something out of Starbuck’s. Drink machine is the best you will find anywhere and not only do they have diet dr pepper but also diet cherry and diet cherry vanilla dr pepper. All in all, a big improvement in the decor and eating experience and by far the most hip place to eat now in Marshall.JG score of new Wendy’s 7.5 ( +1 for food, +2 for atmosphere, +1 for price, +1.5 for all the diet dr pepper choices, +1 still for service, +1 for we will return)27 Jun, 2013Old Wendy’s Review. We never realized we never reviewed Wendy’s !! We went to the old Wendy’s at this location many, many times. Overall, it was a good Wendy’s. It has always been the fastest drive through place in town, not as fast lately, but once you could be in a line 10 cars long, order, and pull out with your food in 1-2 minutes. They were sharp. The food was usually good and consistent and I noticed alot of regulars, including older people, would frequent the place so a good sign. The decor was just your average Wendy’s and the service at the counter was usually adequate but the drive through was rocking.JG score of old place 4 ( +1 for food, 0 for atmosphere, +1 for price, 0 for no diet dr pepper, +1 for service esp drive through, +1 for we returned alot)
