Ok until something better comes. The tamales are so so at best and the menudo is a little better. It’s not that great but the locals think this place is super good for some reason. We need a good place to come to the valley so they can show the peeps what good tamales are
Rude staff. Well, I can’t review the food because the staff was so rude that I left. It was close to closing time and they were out of almost everything anyway. Since, I read that these were the best ever, I did race to the north McAllen location and had a completely different (good) experience.
Delia’s tamales are by far the best I’ve ever tasted. The staff is very friendly and you receive great value for your dollar. I ordered a half dozen chicken tamales and it came with chips and salsa. My bill with a large tea was $5.57. I immediately ordered a dozen frozen chicken tamales for the plane ride back to Dallas. Outstanding restaurant!
