Went there at the spur of the moment. The place was packed! Food was pretty good and the service was pretty good also, even though the place was to capacity! I’m wondering, these people that give ‘ HORRIBLE ‘ reviews, are these owners of other restaurants whose business is affected by El Callejon de Milagro? Hmmm…
Horrendous food and service. Never going back. The food was old and dry. Even the tortillas tasted bad. Service was very poor. When the waitress comes to the table and just throws the check onto the table with disregard to you highlights the type of service that you receive
Excellent place. The dishes are very delicious, not your typical tex-mex fare. The staff is very friendly and will take care of you promptly. If you are looking for a place to experience a different twist on Mexican food this is the place.
Trying new places!. It is a really nice place, everybody on the staff were really friendly and cool, the drinks were awesome, we had some of the famous margaritas and they were really good as they say they are, even the manager came to check if everything was as we expected!Better than other places, there was mariachi playing and the atmosphere was great!For sure we are coming back
Never Going Again!. The prices are just ridiculously high and the amount of food you get for what you pay is absurd! To begin with if you go eat there don’t sit in the high chairs they are very uncomfortable. My husband ordered a shrimp taco plate for $15.66 what he got was: 2 corn tacos and 2 flour tacos (the size of corn tortilla) and literally only one big shrimp fried in eat taco with some nasty red sauce which had no point what so ever being on the plate.
Customer. We give this place a minus 5, will never go there again. we went there on Saturday mid afternoon. we were three and there must have been over 25 chairs open and they could not seat us unless we waited 15-20 minutes. I highly tell my friends not to go there.
Interesting menu. I have been here twice and yes, I like it!! Very different Mexican food, must be from the interior of Mexico. I had the stuffed large mushrooms with shrimp, cream cheese and deep fried. Very good. They have the best homemade corn tortillas. Took some out of town guests here and everyone loved it. We were there on a Friday night and two girls were singing and they were excellent! In my opinion, anyone that can sing Adele songs and sound good must be good!! Give it a shot…oh service is excellent and beer is cold. Oh forgot to tell you, as a dip (free) they serve a type of carne guisada, very different and good!!
