Silly prices for a burger and fries, especially South Texas.
Great Burgers. Truly what fast food should be. The burgers are good and the drinks are never ending. Usually my french fries are crispy and delicious but last time they were soggy. Luck of the draw with the cook I guess.
Best chain burger ever. No doubt!
Great Burger. Great burger and add your own extras all at one price.
Too much food?. Wow we finally get something that is not another Taqueria and people complain there is too much food. If they were giving out not enough chips and salsa people would scream.5 guys has been one of the most highly praised burger chains around. Food is consistent no matter where we find them.Great place!
Fresh and good but not great. Too pricey for a plain fast food restaurant. The burgers are very good and made fresh with your choice of many toppings – most for no extra charge (exceptions are cheese and bacon). Size of burgers are average. Fries are made fresh and are delicious with your choice of seasonings. HOWEVER, they charge way too much for the fries and serve too much. My first time to 5 Guys I was with a group of first- timers. We all ordered fries… some ordered large. No one explained how much fries we would be getting. They ought to at least warn you! We wound up with enough to feed a homeless family two meals. The small fries are enough for two to three people. The large provides a side of fries for four or five. Unless you know this, the amount of food paid for that winds up wasted is ridiculous. I think it’s part of their gimmick. I returned to take my son and we both ate (sharing a small fries). With soda pop, fries and burgers it cost almost $25. Next time I will go to Red Robin for a cooked to order large gourmet burger, endless fries (served hot as you request them), and dine in a nice atmosphere with table service for the same price.
Amazing. How people will flock to this place. I know the Valley is late on getting things and that’s a shame. Hey maybe by 2015, In-n-Out will be down there and you will have all but forgotten about this place. With that being said, this place still makes good burgers but it really is over-priced!
