A really good place to eat, especially if you like to see everything cooked and done in front of you. Has a nice show! Ate here for a couple of birthdays, and the food was good. Can be kind of pricey, but overall yummy!!

Mr.Rj. I like the food at hayashi…its not so expensive and i think out of all the Japanese restaurant in mcallen it is the best…the only problem with HAYASHI is if you order a dish that is $10.40…and you pay cash…they will make you pay $11….even if it is a TAKE OUT….and twice my credit card was double charged…using a different company …so TRY TO BRING EXACT CHANGE….

Best Teppanyaki. The food is absolutely delicious and they serve you quite the generous portion. Bit pricey though.

Horrible experience! Waited over an hour and a half with a reservation!! The server was a POS so we left. Never again!!

Best Tepanyaki in Town. The quality of their food definitely matches the ambiance. I love the fillet and shrimp combination. Expert cooks and high quality ingredients make this restaurant one of my favorite dinner destination in the RGV. I also enjoy sitting at the sushi bar and making up rolls which the sushi guy will make to your liking. U gotta try it, I promise you wont be disappointed!!
