Great crab cakes benedict!
Not enough staff to serve us? Really?01 Jul, 2012Le Peep’s breakfast is delicious!
Service always lacks. We do enjoy the food, with the exception of the frozen peasant potatoes. Especially the Spinach Omlette.Just wish they could spend more time training the staff. They drop off the food and gone!. You can finally get their attention by standing up to walk out and they come running with the check.
This place used to have the best peasant potatoes…. This place used to be one of the most rocking’ places for breakfast here in the valley. Unfortunately their quality of food has gone down drastically. Now their formerly deliciously seasoned peasant potatoes are unseasoned and *obviously* frozen. Their Spanish omelette is still pretty delicious though. I’ll probably still give them a few more chances before I stop going, like I said, they used to be the *best* non-Mexican breakfast here in McAllen.
Asked for a hamburger at it was raw in the middle. It took them 30 mins to bring another horrible service.
Great breakfast. We go here whenever we get up early enough to beat the crowds. This place is top notch. Great coffee. Awesome waffles. Everything is so good. Always a waiting line if you don’t get there before 10:30. Omelets are made to order. Actually everything is, and it is homemade. I could go on and on about le peep. Just check it out. You can’t go wrong here.
My morning destination. This is one place I return to often especially on Sunday mornings. If you get there early enough (opens at 7 am) you can avoid the church crowds. The meals are deliciously made (hard to ruin eggs, but it can be done) and the service is cheerful and prompt. The service a suffers little when the place is a buzz.
