Money to tip. We sat at a table for more then 20 minutes. Never asked to see a menu or even anymore then glanced a pound by a server. The busser was the only person that actually came by to do his job. If one can get past the ridiculous noise of what they call music and the uncalled for snobbish attitude you will receive this is in fact not so bad a place.
Lunch. Great place for a great burger and a quick lunch meeting.
My daughter has dietary needs and we got rudely kicked out, after her soccer game, cause we brought her food with us!
Sick sad shepards pie. This place has to be getting by on its bar and its a nice bar with a good selection with good prices. Its a good location but the food seem so sloppy. I’ve eaten there three times. First time, I was leaniant, I ordered a blue cheese burger. (You have to be a special type of stupid to ruin a burger) second time was the worst, with dreaded shep pie. Bleh I sent it back. Third time I tried to play it safe with some fried aptzers… no luck, they were oilly and soggy. Its a damn shame, Im a chef and I have a pretty good idea about what’s going on in the back.
Dank!. Smells like cigarette smoke, carpet is filthy and A/C didn’t work well. Ordered Shepperd’s Pie: frozen vegetables, stale mashed potatos, bland taste. Fried mushroom appetizer’s were soggy and oily. Yuk!
DISGUSTING!. This place is disgusting! I AM British and I can say that there is hardly anything authentic on the menu! I went expecting to have some food just like home and chose the shepherds pie. It was $12 so I asked for a half serving, expecting it to be a huge serving. They couldn’t accommodate me so I ended up having to order the whole thing. I was disgusted with what I was given and serverely disappointed! Frozen veggies, canned meat that looked like alpo dog food and plain mash potatoes. This is NOT a shephards pie! FIrst of all, shepherds pie uses ground lamb, not beef (Ground beef in the same fashion is Cottage Pie) that is put in layers with peas, carrots, onion, and mash potato with the top layer being crisped in the oven. Look at this photo and tell me if that looks appetitsing to you…http://bit.ly/id14qqNo wonder American’s think the British have bad food! They’ve never tasted any!Do not go here if you want an authentic British experience!
Used To Be Great. Used to have dandy fish and chips and the calimari appetizer was super too. Lots of kinds of good beer. Last time was awful; fish badly cooked lousy service, shorted the change when I paid.
