Expensive, Terrible chopped beef.. I took a chance on this one while visiting McAllen. The atmosphere is fine but was expecting a better meal. I spent 17 bucks total with a 20 percent tip for a two meat plate. Being obligated to tip at a BBQ restaurant because they bring the meal to you is not what I would call a real BBQ experience. Unfortunately, I feel forced to tip when someone’s bringing food to me. The chopped beef was terrible- it’s basically the worst part of the meat and a lot of fat. Overall, I wish I would have stopped by the schlotskys instead when I saw it down the road. I won’t same make mistake again.

Hey, ever eaten at a clean BarBQ place with great BarBQ?Let me tell you about the ribs and sausage. A serving is enough for 2 to share and still have some left. Does that convince you? Not me. But if I tell you that they are cooked to perfection and excellent – and I don’t like BarBQ, that should give you the answer.I have been to some highly touted places – not impressed. This place is worth the drive and the money. Don’t miss it.
