After at least 15 years going to this restaurant, I will NEVER go again!! Had a dish that tasted sour and asked waiter if they used lemon to season. He said none… asked him to brake food away because it tasted bad. Told me food would not be charged. Get to cash register and Am told food tasted good to manager and had to pay for full meal. He or she didn’t have the courtesy to approach me. Never again!
I was referred here by a friend and the reviews. The first sign something was off is the weird mildew like odor that hit me as I walked in. My gut said leave but we pressed on for a seat. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken which was all white meat but no onions or other vegetables. Very average and disappointing. Our waiter forgot to serve us our cabbage soup which was good but had it at the same time as our meal. My wife ordered Hunan chicken which she liked. The name of the restaurant is Lotus Inn but once I got my food combined with odor and dated decor I felt Lotus Out!!We will not return.
