Over priced, mediocre pizza. I think the ratio of crust to pizza shouldn’t be so one sided (crust). The crust is good as far as crusts go though. I’ve had pizzas all over Texas and this ranks just above Dominos and Pizza Hut, which frankly I don’t consider to be REAL pizza joints. For the Mcallen area Russos is a far better choice despite it being a different style. Harlingen has some good spots but Mamas in Mcallen is a no go for me. The wait staff is very good btw, but I didn’t go to eat for the the wait staff….
Storebought crust. I was embarrassed to take my family to eat there. 6 hungry people couldn’t be bothered to finish a pepperoni pizza. The crust was rolled in to make the pizza smaller, after pulling it apart it became apparent the crust was store bought, I have to assume the same for the sauce. It’s corner cutting like this that loses customers.
