Indian food at universal market. The food was a disgrace ! Will never eat there again. This restaurant gives Indian food a bad name. They probably need to get a new chef.

Very good food and pleasant atmosphere my husband is from India and was very impressed with the chef! now that’s saying something! we recently moved here from Austin and thought we would not find a market let alone a restaurant i am glad we found it since curry leaves are not found at the local HEB..

Insanely perfect!. I always have such a good time when I come to Universal Market. The food is always fresh and delicious, even their buffet. The kind waiters are always able to suggest things and my cup is never in need of a refill. I love being able to walk next door and buy some of the gorgeous tea I just drank. The small, family feel has me and my friends going back at least one a week. The only thing that makes me sad is that is closes for short periods of time during the day… but it leaves me wanting more! I hope this restaurant never loses it’s quality.
Restaurant. Great food, genuine Indian cuisine…very pleasant ambiance and service. Rice pudding delicious! Will certainly re-visit and recommend to friends.
Awesome combination of food, service, & price! This is my usual stop when I crave Indian cuisine. The buffet to-go is more than worth the price. I love the chicken briani, the naan & the chicken tika. 5 stars! The owners are very polite.
