I was just informed by the manager that I couldn’t place a delivery order over the phone with no explanation. The website is not working properly. He told me to have a nice evening after I told him that he just lost a sale. Seriously? This is Texas. You all are one new BBQ restaurant away from losing business permanently. Never think your too big to embrace customer service. You just lost a loyal one for life. So you have a good night. Rude.
The sliders were good. My friend had the chix and waffles which seemed to be good. The salad was gross and the Mac & cheese was disappointing. The salad was slimy, it seemed like the ingredients were a couple days old. I will probably eat here again, but stick to sandwiches
Move has done this place good. Our family had eaten at the closet location many times…and though the food was good, once the crowds came it varied…now located in the deep end of the pool with lots of room, we enjoyed the personable service, and hot food that hit the mark…we will continue to enjoy this close comfort food hot spot!!! (and teh mac and cheese is great, not even close to a box so there must have been a recipe change this last year…FYI)
First couple of times everything was great. Today the gumbo was served cold, the hamburger was over cooked and cold. Diss appointing.
Pass on the Mac n cheese. Hard to tell the diff from kraft dinner. Fried chicken is awesome! Creamed corn is wow good. Pork French dip is a nice twist on pulled pork, but needs sauce or better yet a pork consume. I’m a big fan and love this joint.
Gluten Free Goodness. My husband and I frequent there weekly…or almost. Anything we try, we love. Their chicken sliders (can be GF) are wonderful. I wish they gave you lettuce to wrap it up. I have tried suggesting that before, but I just get pieces of lettuce. You HAVE to try every sause they give you…we haven’t found one we don’t like. My husband says it really may be the best peach cobbler (or close to it). The ‘melt in you mouth pork’ is seriously that. And the sause they put with it is FULL of flavor. Can’t complain about any of the sides yet. Molasses sweet potatoes are fantastic when hot 😉 The mashed potatoes are very creamy and good. I can’t wait to continue to try more things on the menu. They have quite a few GF items, including a shrimp salad that sounds fantastic.
