If you want just a good, honest down home joint to enjoy a burger and beer you can’t go wrong here. You can have a burger or a burger. About as far astray as they go from that is a chicken burger as I recall. That’s OK though, because the burger was great and they had all the condiments there so I could make it my way. The onion rings and poppers were home made and authentic. The prices were reasonable and the manager and staff made you feel welcome. It’s burger joint / sports bar / ice house in look and feel which works for me. I think the restaurant goes by a different name these days (Something? Burgers and Beer) so I’ll have to check my receipt again to confirm. By whatever name though, for casual beers with the boys dining it strummed all the right chords for me.
