Never go back!. Service was so slow, and food so over priced!I don’t know how they survive with so many competitions around….every one were unhappy:(
Used to go here all the time cuz it was the pretty decent Vietnamese in Woodlands with a large menu. Then their water changed and tasted like they cleaned their dishes in it. Its in their Pho & food so everything tasted moldy. Tried 3 times and the water was horrible & we had to stop. Fix that moldy water & we’ll be bad PLEASE!As for the service – yeah the complaints are legit. don’t go during the lunch rush and you’ll be okish. Okish if you speak up. :-7
Service is very slow. Make sure u r not in a rush. Food is just mediocre.
Average. I had to like this place for the fact that it’s not entirely that bad to get a dislike. The pho is average at best and pretty much what you would expect from a Vietnamese restaurant. The inside if pretty cool and well decorated, although it was empty and doesn’t seem like it gets a lot of business. The broth for the pho wasn’t as tasty as some others that I’ve had, but chicken pho is normally not as tasty as the beef versions. The spring rolls that we got were average. Service was average. I went out of my way to try something different, but I won’t go out of my way again for average.
Great Vegetarian Options. I stumbled upon this lovely restaurant last week after searching for Vietnamese in Spring. What struck me when I searched their on-line menu was their vegetarian options, which many restaurants do not have. I have to say they have some of the freshest and most delicately flavored veg dishes I have ever tried. On my first visit, (yes I went back again yesterday), I had the tofu spring rolls (they have two varieties) and their tofu vermicelli. The spring rolls were delicious and were served with a ginger/soy dipping sauce instead of the typical peanut sauce. I soon discovered that they had peanuts tucked into the rolls themselves. Absolutely light and delicious. I then had the tofu vermicelli for my main course. It was delicately flavored with lots of veggies. It was not served in the typical bowl but on a plate with all the items pointing to the four winds. Nice presentation and delicious. On my second trip I tried their other spring rolls, which had one of two less ingredients and were served with peanut sauce. Delicious again. I had their Rock-N-Roll Tofu which was not the same as the others I’ve had elsewhere. This was more in the genre of a General Tsao type tofu sans deep fried coating. It was very good and I would definitely order it again. The wait staff was very nice and attentive. I had the same waitress who remembered me and was very kind and helpful.
Horrible Service – Maybe Just Our Server?. Our family of 4 visited on a weeknight at 8pm. Only 2 other parties there. The server did not write down our order. It was weird how she delivered the pho side dish first so we got to stare at bean sprouts and cilantro while our stomachs grumbled. Then she delivered our older child’s meal first (before the 2 appetizers we’d ordered to share came). He ate alone while we stared in envy. The fresh rolls and egg rolls were okay, not great, they were our appetizers. When the 3 pho were delivered as our entree, instead of chicken noodle we got something beef, and instead of a what I ordered, I was given meatball. We sent them back. (Maybe she should have written down the order). It took over 20 mins for the new pho to come out at which point the other pho-eater was all finished eating. However pho is just not the same served with NO thai basil but with flavor-less old cilantro instead. The waitress was unattentive and in her own world, standing in the middle of the restaurant sending text messages on her mobile phone. The best part of it all was the lemonade which was homemade (came with the kid’s meal). When we left at 9:15pm there were 10 parties there which was surprising and led me to think maybe our bad experience wsa just due to our incompetent waitress. As I left I saw a different waitress delivering pho with a heap of thai basil and I realized maybe truly our server is really to blame…
