My favorite greek restaurant in the area. Food is great, it's lively inside especially if you go when they have dancers at night, only reason it's not…

Solid Greek food. Very authentic, however improvements could be made on quality. It’s always very busy, so the community seems to approve. All-in-all a good neighborhood gem!
I would have given them 5 stars if the service was better. The food was delicious! I had the mousaka and my boyfriend had the gyro plate. Both delicious. We had the 4 dip appetizer, which we could have done without. I’ve had better hummas. Our sides were the Greek potatoes, which were delicious, and the spinach and rice, which was a little bland, but the entrees totally made up for any complaints. My current favorite Mediterranean restaurant!
First time having Greek food, had a good experience thought it was a good venue, would recommend for someone wanting to try something off the beaten path.
I usually really like this place…coming from Chicago it is as close to Greek town as I can get! Tonight I talked the hubby and MIL to go there and it was a crazy experience. The waiter was totally new so when he came to the table with our drinks and dropped them all over us, we were totally understanding…it happens, right!? He was a nice guy and was trying very hard. So we went to another table while they mopped up the water/wine/tea. Then when we resumed our dinner, everything went well. Food was good, service was good. I was totally surprised to NOT see anything comp’d on our check. Really? That was a huge inconvenience (did I mention my 80+ year old Mother In Law got soaked??). Totally tacky 🙁 and because of it, it will be a long time before we go back. It’s all about customer service and while the service was good, the customer service sucked!
I went to the Olive Oil for lunch with my boyfriend and I was a little hesitant at first. My mother is obsessed with Greek food and has forced me to try it hundreds of times, and I was never a fan. Our waiter was Marvin, and did a fantastic job giving us suggestions for a meal and finding out what beer my boyfriend had ordered the last time he came here (for his birthday). Marvin knew the menu backwards and forwards! We settled on the Greek Sampler after I mentioned how I rarely ever have Greek food. I decided to try everything on the plate, instead of being picky. Everything was GREAT, even the green beans, which I usually never ever enjoy from any place. I was very surprised that I enjoyed everything, since a lot of the items on the plate I had tried from other Greek restaurants and I was never really impressed, but Olive Oil is hands down the best Greek food I have ever had. We also got the fried calamari appetizer, and it was perfect. Not greasy, not over battered, and not over cooked, it has to be my favorite calamari of all time (I order calamari any chance I get). I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who enjoys Greek food, and even those who are on the fence about it. I will definitely be back.
Great Fun on Sat Nights. Decent Greek Food, but Sat nights are so much fun, belly dancers, greek dancing.. amazing atmosphere. Just make sure you have reservations.
