Ordered 60 dollars of food and will NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN. THE PASTA WITH THE SPAGHETTI AND CHICKEN PARM WAS DRY AND BLAND. THE PIZZA WAS THE WRONG ONE A BRICK OF BREAD WITH VERY LITTLE SAUCE AND CHEESE (THREW IT ALL AWAY)DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE.
This little joint is a hidden gem! Some of the best Italian I’ve had in Dallas. The pizza is exquisite, the Alfredo fettuccine with chicken is rich and creamy with flavor. Even the garlic bread was noteworthy. Home made style cooking at its best. Highly recommend
I have been dining with Venezia for 12 years and have loved it every single time I eat there. There are maybe 5-10 decent Italian spots in all of DFW and this up near the top. Dallas, unlike NYC, does not do Italian food well. I either order the pizza, but most of the time I order the Calamari Fra Diavlo. It is very delicious and reminds me of Little Italy in NY. The wait staff is the best, so friendly and wonderful are the owner and his wife. I’m proud to eat there when I can cause I know it will always be a great experience.
Pizza. Amazing thin crust19 Nov, 2014If you haven’t been here, and you are near Murphy, do so…. Best thin pizza I have had in years. The ambiance of the restaurant is excellent. The owners are the staff and they are take care of you. I will be back.
Always fantasic service from Beciana and food is great! We have been four times now and it has been consistently good. Dinner is very reasonably priced and it is byob. Go try them!
Excellent Neighborhood Place!. We stumbled upon Venezia’s by accident one night. My husband and I were looking for a casual place for a cup of coffee and dessert close to home. We were pleasantly surprised to find an incredible Italian restaurant with attentive service, excellent food, a relaxing atmosphere and great prices! We’ve been back three times in the past month. The owner is very actively involved in all aspects of running the restaurant, from seating customers, to refilling drinks, checking in with the kitchen and diners throughout their meals. He brought us a free appetizer one night – one the best tomato mozzarella salads I’ve ever had. I highly recommend ordering it, ripe tomato slices, topped with fresh mozzarella, freshly snipped basil, capers and topped with olive oil and balsamic – superb! It rivals those I’ve had in much higher-end Italian restaurants. Every time we go, there are couples of all ages and families, hanging out and watching basketball of their two big screen TV’s. It’s also a BYOB place but still very family and/or couple-friendly. We’ve also had their pasta dishes, pizza, subs and desserts. Everything has been fresh, homemade and delicious. We won’t go anywhere else in the Murphy, Wylie, Richardson, Plano or Firewheel area for Italian because nothing compares to the overall experience at Venezia’s. Highly recommended!
