Terrible. Title says enough
Gone downhill. This was once my favorite place to eat in Nacogdoches, but the food and service has declined over the last few years. The last three times I have been to Casa, the service was slow despite there only being a few tables in the dining area. The food was cold. How do you serve cheese enchiladas that are not melted on the inside on three different occasions? I have been served guacamole way past its prime. Are they reusing leftovers from dinner for the next day’s lunch service to cut cost? Sorry folks, but Casa is no longer on my list of places to stop at while visiting Nac.
Casa Too Much. Too much money for not good food. Disappointing. Always seen clever signs out front and lots of cars. Maybe I’m too used to authentic Mexican food to be entertained by this restaurant.
First let me say that I have been to many Mexican restaurants and this is the first that didn’t have enchilada verde on the menu. I got my chips and salsa. They brought the salsa and green sauce. The green sauce was made from powder with fresh cilantro in it. Next I got my meal and the beans and rice looks very dry and not very fresh. I will be going to center to get Mexican food next time.

Really good salsa. I really love the food here. The price is right. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go again.
Easily my favorite restaurant in town. EVERYTHING is delicious and freshly made. I’ve always has great service and the best margaritas in town. This place has been around for as long as it has for a reason- it’s the best!!
