Flavorless Chicken. I grew up in Louisiana, spent the first 31 years of my life there and I have eaten a lot of food with that Louisiana flavor. Raising Cain’s chicken taste like it was cooked in Wisconsin or somewhere up north where bland is king. I guess they depend on you dipping the chicken in the sauce to give it flavor. I have lived in Texas for the past 22 years and haven’t been able to get by one of the locations in Louisiana but finally got to stop and eat at one in the Frisco, Texas area last night…….I don’t know how they have managed to be as successful as they have been but they need to go back to the drawing board on their chicken recipe in my opinion………

No Gravy? In Texas?. Great food and amazing staff. Chicken is fresh and probably one of the best tasting strips in Nacogdoches. Besides Ketchup and their ‘homemade’ dipping sauce, they have nothing else. Only 6 combos on the menu which leaves you kind of wanting more options. Each meal is Chicken: Coleslaw: Texas Toast: Crinkle Cut Fries. Nothing else, nothing more. Just kinda boring for what it is.

Really good!!. I eat here every time I take my daughter to SFA for summer camp. There is not a Raising Canes where I live. Their dipping sauce is to die for good. Also their bread…oooo yummy! The chicken is delicious of course!! If you are watching your calories I would not go here. Their sweet tea is really sweet..I would recommend getting it half sweet half unsweet to balance it out. Just thinking about Raising Canes is making me really hungry right now. I highly recommend this restaurant.
