Great food and desserts. A little over priced but you are in the heart of Historic Downtown Nacogdoches on the brick streets. Kind of ‘closed quarters’ but very good food.
Shelley’s Bakery is without a doubt the best restaurant in town. I love the cuban panini and the santa fe panini. They have great salads too. They don’t make sandwiches until you order it. They desserts are great, especially the chocolate explosion cupcakes and lemon bars. You want great upscale food, you get on thee-mail list for their friday night dinners. I moved away and I miss that place so bad. You gotta try it. Make reservations for a guaranteed table they fill up fast!!
Yummy I selected the Cuban Paninni, Tomato Basil Soup and Broccoli Slaw. Judging by what I saw and heard (basically purrs) everyone at the table enjoyed their lunch as well.
Lovely and delicious. A hidden gem in Nacogdoches. Great light food nice bakery items. Have experienced mixed service from harried and uppity borderline rude manager to sweet young helpful waitresses in the summer. The food brings me back in spite of inconsistent service- delicious.
A great lunch time eatery in historic downtown Nacogdoches! An inventive and delicious selection of sandwiches and grilled paninis. Be sure to try the brocoli slaw!

Shelley’s is GREAT!. Nice lunch menu. Occasional Friday evening meals are incredible! Shelley catered several events for us – all delicious, interesting, and very professional. Well trained staff.
