Not the fanciest place but their sandwiches are AMAZING! The veggies and bread the sandwiches are made with are super fresh. The spring and summer rolls are delicious as well.

I’ll admit that I wasn’t expecting much for the beef pho…but I was so wrong! It’s really good! I plan to visit there every chance I get! It’s not expensive at all!

Really, In the Nac Mall of all Places. I was turned on to this place from a car dealer friend of mine after he heard me talking about my affinity for Pho. If you don’t know Pho, it is a traditional Vietnamese soup based on clear beef broth, shaved lean beef and rice noodles. Like any traditional dish, everyone does it a little differently so it is always nice to go to a place and try their version. You can tell that T tries hard to translate his menu into East Texan but he has your typical Vietnamese Sandwich shop fare but the menu items have been renamed to suit the Nac mall rats I guess. He has no problem, though, when I order a bowl of Pho and some Vietnamese Coffee for desert. T’s Pho is good, not the best I’ve ever had but I go back because the next best place to get any is three hours away. I want to try his sandwiches one day, I hear they are outstanding as well as the avocado smoothie, don’t knock it until you try it. If you are a total noob to Pho, it is served with a side of fresh herbs, chiles and bean sprouts as well as some hoisin (asian bbq sauce), Sriracha (hot chile sauce), and soy sauce. You are expected to doctor it up to your liking. Go easy on the Sriracha if you are sensitive to spice, has a great flavor but it doesn’t take much. When you put your fresh ingredients in, let them steep in the broth for a min so that the flavors get out into the broth and the hot broth will soften the bean sprouts a bit.

Inexpensive greatness!. The beef pho is very good. Good friends of mine introduced me to the yellow restaurant in the Nacogdoches Mall aka The Hall. I took my husband who was a bit hesitant eating Vietnamese food in Nacogdoches of all places and he loved it! We’ve been several times simply for the pho. We have also had the Summer rolls and Spring rolls which are both very good. The owners are very nice too!
