If you’re in Nacogdoches, seek this place out!. BEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD EVER. End of story. It may be a little hard to find Tacos Dona Pancha (it’s on the South side of town, behind a laundromat and a Brookshire Bros.) but when you do, you can expect to get some of the best food you’re liable to find anywhere for prices that seem a product of the last century. There’s a large and varied menu of different types of tacos (I recommend any of them, but particularly the Tacos al Pastor, as of late) and you can get all the other authentic Mexican classics, all prepared by folks who put passion and love into their food. The folks who run this place are also some of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. If you’re a fan of tortas, Dona Pancha’s version will ruin your view of what a torta is–they are sublime. No one else can compare.
