Calahan’s is a fun bar to meet up with friends, drink beer and watch a game. But their pizza is really the best feature! Their crust, sauce and toppings are all delicious. My personal favorite is their margherita pizza! Ask for extra basil pesto, it is amazing!

I still dream about the pizza roll!. I’ve had pizza rolls from a few different places, nothing compares, I still dream about the pizza rolls from Calahan’s…YOU MUST TRY THEM!

Bar Rescue. The bar itself is a cool place to hang out but I think this place needs to be rescued. For starters its in a prime location with competing places on each side. You got the Phoenix Saloon directly across from it with its bright neon and loud music. Diagonally across you got Scores which also is noticeably crowded with live music and across from them you got AJ’s Alehouse and yes..it also has live music. I can’t imagine this place making money at all if Saturday was any indication of how its like on any given night because this place was dead. I have never seen this place here before cause of the lack of neon showing that this is indeed a bar….(see my picture of their sign out front).. The bar is dimly lit and is separated by a pathway…a pathway with a sheep mural?! SHEEP? Im irish and I don’t have an affinity for sheep! anyways…one side has tables and the other side games while the bar sits in the back. One thing to note a family walked out because there was no customer service! This place needs a new identity because its far from being an Irish Pub. Lets end this on a positive side, the drinks were good! Call Jon Taffer…he will help you.

Worst eatery in NB. My husband and I enjoy driving up to NB for dinner, as we’ve never gone wrong, until this weekend. In an attempt to save a little cash, we tried out Calahan’s, thinking we’d find a diamond in the rough. This place was nothing but rough–with music from the 80s cranked up far too loud, beer that was $2 more on the bill than on the menu, and the rudest manager ever (who claimed that prices fluctuate almost daily, so there was no way he could possibly know how much the beer was supposed to be. . .) I would never go to the place again. The philly cheesesteaks were TERRIBLE (I didn’t know one could mess these up)! The one positive aspect was the cheesesticks–which were delicious (albiet greasy, but that is expected), but they are definitely NOT worth the trip!

Good beer, decent atmosphere, but don’t go eat here. It took 90 minutes to get 6 sandwiches that were worse than what you can get at subway. We orders the chicken bacon ranch, and it came without bacon or ranch.

Good sliders. Pretty predictable bar w stage combo with the bonus of great beer choices on tap…..similar to flying saucer in other towns….sliders were tasty and chicken tacos surprisingly good.Band that night played the crowd pleasers dismissible at first, but after several drinks and the place becoming full with lubricated singalong folk, it became entertaining. Otherwise, place lacks atmosphere if not full. Friendly bartender experienced.

Pizza is easily NB best. Beer is a little $$$. Stay away from the XP, it is 2x the price and essentially the same as the large.
