Meh! Not great, not horrible
Everything was dirty. We asked for our tablw to get cleaned but it never was. Our food took a super long time. I had the taco salad and the ground beef was bland and so watery my taco shell bowl was soggy and gross. The sour cream was forgotten. My boyfriend had two breakfast tacos. His eggs were burnt from thw begining. One came without cheese and when they took it back they just dumped cold sheds on it. He asked for it to be melted it came back with burnt cheese. Overall with all the awesome mexican restaurants in this town don’t waste your time on this one.

Chips. Everything at Cancun is well done. The thin salsa mentioned in other reviews is one of my favorite. Its somewhere between El Pato and Pico de Gallo. Try something different and get their pork chop plate. You won’t be disappointed. Homemade chips from homemade corn (and sometimes flour) tortillas, enough said.
Good stuff, diff from reg tex mex. Been here several times. Being that my mother comes from Mexico, every time they visit us here in New Braunfels, I have to take them to authentic places. So far, Cancun, and Nopalito are THE best places in NB.
Really authentic Mexican food. Everything was homemade and delicious. The chips and salsa was homemade and had a very nice kick. Prices very reasonable, my wife and I had an entire meal for under twenty bucks. Highly recommend this resturaunt
Slightly different. The food here is somewhat different from most Tex-Mex/Mexican restaurants. The thinner red salsa packs one hell of a kick; the other chunky salsa is still too hot for my wife. But I enjoy both.In general, sauces are a little thinner and a little spicier than you find most places. Enchildas are aways good here, though.I can’t recommend any of their grilled meats; any tme I’ve tried them, I’ve found them overcooked and tried. One thing I will recommend, if you don’t mind waiting – breakfast tacos are overstuffed and greasy (just the way I like them).
