I loved the feel in Fork and Spoon. It took about 5 minutes to be seated even though the restaurant was empty but we weren’t in a big hurry. Our waitress was sweet and our food came out perfectly! The French Toast was amazing, the potatoes were crisp and flavorful and surprisingly my husband was very happy with his migas! This might be the best service we’ve had in New Braunfels..
Hit, or more often, Miss. Most disappointing Chicken Tortilla Soup I may have ever had. Big bowl of heated canned tomatoes with a bit of chicken, onion, tiny sliver of avocado, a few chip strips and a dollop of cheese. There may have been spices but I don’t remember them. Like something from a kids cooking class. Wish they would narrow the menu and do everything well instead of being creative here and there. Companion’s salad was lovely and the kitchen smelled yummy. Will go back if others want to as the ambiance is comfortable, but it isn’t my first choice for great food.
