Overall: good. The brisket is thin and peppery (almost jerky like in flavor). The turkey is also thin and smoky. The pork ribs are thick. I was hoping for more flavor with the ribs. The potato salad is thick and hearty with great flavors. The beans are basic but not bad. The peach cobbler was awesome and sinful. The regular BBQ sauce is good. The spicy and sweet variety is okay. A little spicy and sweet. Good service, nice atmosphere.
So disappointed! Used to be so good! Now lack of care from the employees and the food is sub par. Food was wrong and they acted like it was a bother to fix it. Can’t believe the great service you get at the store and complete opposite at restaurant. Won’t be going back.
Miss Opportunity. Just went there yesterday and ordered a pound of pork and half pound of ribs, with a medium cold slaw and fries.Got home and saw that they charged me $3.50 for the cold slaw and did not put that in the bag.I’m disappointed.My first time there 🙁
Amazing turkey. The bread they use for their sandwiches is incredible too! I have basically loved everything I’ve ever ordered here plus their drive through is usually very fast!
Disappointment. I tried this place years ago and never really thought much of it but since we were back in town we tried it and discovered it still isn’t any better. We had the chopped BBQ which was more sauce than meat, the brisket was dry and tasteless. The only thing that was even average was the sausage. Also the beans had almost as many onions in it as beans.
Great food!. The food here is awesome! From the delicious brisket to the chopped beef sandwhich, it is all great– sides included! Not much to complain about, the tables aren’t dirty, the staff is alright, and overall it is a really nice place.
Used to love this place, but now there always seems to be a problem every time I go. This time my sandwich was cold and my fries were soggy. Service also wasn’t the greatest. This will most likely be my last time there.
