Gruene door is our favorite. Everything is fresh and made in house. The walnut tarragon dressing is the best. Sunday brunch is amazing, try the crab cake Benedict. Everything on the menu is wonderful and the service is exceptional. A must try well worth the trip if you are coming from Austin or San Antonio..
Rehearsal dinner in the private room. We booked their private room for our rehearsal dinner. The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere, attentive staff, and most importantly: mouth-watering & delicious food. We were so happy to have this as the introduction to our wedding weekend. 🙂
WORST SERVICE EVER. We have eaten here a few times the other times were ok this time was horriable. the Steak was over cooked when asked to take back we got attitude and it took another 35 min to cook another steak. Also to done. i was never asked if the new steak was ok or if we needed anything else. completly unacceptable for the price we paid for our meal!!!!
A delicious treat!. Started with soup (roasted mushroom was the soup of the day) that was delicious and shrimp and grits to die for. Must go!
Great find in Gruene. Casual atmosphere, fine dining and delicious food makes this a great find in Gruene. Located in the newer part of Gruene, Gruene Lake Village, just off Gruene Rd east of the historic district and worth finding. Highly recommend the Mediterranean Chicken or the Stuffed Poblano Pepper – delicious! They also have a great wine list!
Great Service, Best Salmon in Town. Loved every minute of the service here, our server was very attentive the entire night recommending everything from the martinis my date and I ordered to the bruschetta paired with a Salmon for me and the Scallops for my date. Everything was wonderful, Salmon was much better than anything the only seafood restaurant(McAdoos) could muster, it was highly recommended as the servers favorite and upon more visits here I may be inclined to agree with him.
