Good food, mediocre service. Their food is very good, but I placed a to go order and had to wait 15 minutes longer than they told me, and when I got home, the calzone was not what I ordered.
We loved this place. It is a good place to get a pizza in Gruene! Cold beer, great margaritas( w/ agave nectar), we had the house specialty pizza and a caprese salad,very tasty. While the pizza had a bit of forehead-sweating heat, It wasn’t overwhelming. It was very flavorful and had a wonderful crust. If you want the extra heat, ask for the scorpion oil dipping sauce (we weren’t brave enough to try it.) You can really tell the care by the daily made from scratch ingredients. The wood fired brick oven adds that great flavor also. The patio here is also great, big screen tv, fire place, sunny and shaded seating for each type of patron. They are currently adding to the outdoor patio and it will nearly double the size of seating. Just sit and relax with your favorite drink and a really good pizza pie! We will come back!

Sports fan. Inferno’s has is a great place to hang out, eat great food. I enjoy all the different pizzas, but I love the meatball appetizer the best. this is my 5th visit of many more to come.
Luv This Place. I luv this place and so do my adult children! They have a great lunch special that features a Cesar salad, personal pizza and a drink for around $5.99. Tonight, we are ordering for carry out two large pizzas. It is cheaper than the chain pizza places. It tastes so much better than the chains. It is baked in a brick oven so that adds to the taste. I usually hate pizza crust, but I luv their crust! The people that work there are top notch! Our favorite waiter is James. He will never let your drink go dry and attends to your every need. We can’t wait to go back, but three times in one week is enough for now.
2nd visit even better. This is my 2nd time back to this nice pizza place in Gruene and having such a good impression with the first visit I was hoping for that again. I had built a pizza with gorgonzola, bacon and scorpion pepper sausage as my toppings. Never had gorgonzola on pizza and it worked well with the heat of the scorpion sausage pepper. I also got to try the caprese salad which was better than the one I tried then the one at Stella which at the time I thought was the best. Service and management was excellent on a busy Friday night.18 Oct, 2013Wowzers. Being out in about I decided to finally try this new pizza place out in Gruene. Walking in its roomy and spacious with a nice looking bar. I decided to sit at the bar because I wanted to see how fully stocked they are while I eat my pizza. Staff was extremely friendly from the host to the bar tender. Pizza came out in less than 10 min and it was piping hot. Ordered the lunch special which is a small two topping pizza, side and drink for 5.98. I decided on feta and pepperoni for my toppings. Im a above average eater on Pizza and have been to many pizza places and I would have to say Inferno hit the mark in so many ways with me that its one of the top 10 places I have been to. Full bar, NFL ticket and some good damm pizza make this a must visit when in Gruene.
Really good pizza. Try the Jalapeo Mac and cheese….yum!
