DO NOT GO TO JIMMY JOHNS in New Braunfels!!!!!!!I stood looking at the menu for 10 mins until someone showed up to take my order. He smelled like he was front row at a Willie Nelson concert. After having to repeat my order several times, it took waaaaay to long to make 3 sandwiches. I got home and found out 2 of them were NOT as ordered. Must be the Owner’s son.DO NOT GO!!!!!!
I love jimmy johns just not this one. When I was in austin I would get jimmy johns all the time and everyone I’d had assist me from counter staff or delivery drivers were always super nice the new braunfels location however is terrible. Worst ever. The staff is totally rude. They basically looked pissed off that I came in. There’s was like six people that all looked like they were 16 staring rudely at me while I was giving my order. The guy behind the register was so rude that I didn’t even order my sandwich the way I wanted to because I figured it would be easier for me to pick the tomatoes out myself than to have this guy be anymore mad at me for whatever reason he had for glaring hatefully while I was ordering. When my friend asked for napkins the guy pointed by the soda machine and said they were over there but they’re behind the counter where no customer should even be putting their hands. Also I live less than a mile away and somehow they don’t deliver to me which is the only reason I went in to begin with.
Doing better. They are getting better than when they first opened. They were making sandwiches wrong and had some real space cadets working there. But they have got better employees now and they are must quicker than before and the people working there are much nicer. Give them a chance their sandwiches are good and they are starting to become freaky fast!
FREAKY FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. The owner has control of the YELP page, and does not let negative reviews on the site check the NOT RECOMMENDED section for real reviews. The TUNA SUB and TUNA CLUB have the exact same amount of tuna on them. That’s right you pay this chump a buck extra for a couple of slices of provolone cheese, and just because it says giant clubs doesnt mean they’re any bigger still 8 inch roll just another poorly portioned serving of flavorless meat. Do yourself a favor spend the extra 5 min. and just head towards JERSEY MIKES.
Just bad all the way around!. Upon entering the establishment the workers looked bored. They were very unpleasant. I felt like my presence was an inconvenience. The bread was hard. While we were eating they acted like yhey couldn’t wait for us to leave. 2 workers literally stood by the door and watch me and my 2 teenage girls eat! I was so uncomfortable that we didn’t even finish our food! I will never go back, nor will I ever recomend this place!
So slow you’ll Freak!. The owner of this joint doesn’t understand the concept of Jimmy Johns…..I love Jimmy Johns, and I’m so glad we have one in New Braunfels, but I’m afraid it won’t last seeing as how the owner is a pokey guy with bad jokes…….I hope he gets his sh*t together….until then the San Marcos location gets my business
Fast doesn’t mean good food!. The counter help was extremely rude and the sandwich was not worth going back. Choices very limited. My first visit and definitely my last.
